I would translate this into our day and age to include pornography....which seems to be so pervasive in our society. And so widely accepted as mainstream.

I can't imagine wanting to share Kim......but, I know times were different back then.
I think the underlying message to this chapter, is just how slippery the sexual slope can be for men. And you can make snap decisions that will effect you for the rest of your life, and if you choose "poorly" (like in Indiana Jone and the Last Crusade) it'll haunt you for forever.

ReplyDeleteit seems most of our politicians and movie stars and many other walks of life need to read and meditate on the last half of this chapter.
Sex is awesome in its positive power as well as danger. I think in general we men have a greater need and if we are not fully fed combined with a lack of a strong faith and understanding of God's direction for us creates a very easy target for the devil to exploit.
I'm with you I can't imagine sharing Gina, I generally am not a jealous person but that would make me burn. She doesn't like mushy talk so just in case she reads this I won't quote the mushy stuff in the chapter and just say she will always be smokin' hot in my eyes. :)
