12 But they do not know
the thoughts of the Lord;
they do not understand his plan,
that he has gathered them like sheaves to the threshing floor.
I find the visions in this chapter fun to think about being able to see unfold. This particular verse is comforting because while it may seem like the world is falling apart and that God is being pushed out, I know in the end He has a plan and those who believe in Him will prevail.

That's a GREAT point. I've been feeling a little defeated, as a people, as we read thru some of these chapters. Especially the ones that are talking about how the people keep moving away from God, and then he smacks them......but you are right. Its all under his control and plan anyway. So, in the end....he will be glorified.
