2 “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
though you are small among the clans[b] of Judah,
out of you will come for me
one who will be ruler over Israel,
whose origins are from of old,
from ancient times.”
Micah wrote these words about 700 years before Jesus was born. Comforting and amazing to read how perfectly connected it is from beginning to end. I enjoy seeing all the connections that are revealed when you study the bible thoroughly, i need to continue to make time to truly dig in--I'm never disappointed when I do, yet too often I let the busy lifestyle so many of us lead get in the way. shame on me.

No more taking control of the world,
ReplyDeleteworshiping what you do or make.
Here's one line from The Message version. It sounds so stupid, doesn't it?
Why would anyone worship something they've made themselves..........its almost laughable. I think it comes down to being able to see and touch something. That's what makes faith so hard. There's no verification......except in the reactions of the things around us, to him being present. Does that make sense?
