Again loaded with good stuff.
But, I'm going to overlook the more obvious things to write about.
I love how Jesus operates and talks to the people, including the religious leaders. I struggle everyday to keep my mind on God's mission. Honestly, every 10 minutes I slip up. I quickly revert back to selfish thoughts, and selfish desires. But, when Jesus talks I always get the sense that he is operating on God's mission. The people accusing him of wrong-doing sound so petty and small. Jesus seems SSSOOOO grand.
I can see Jesus slowly gliding through the people at the pool, hoping to be healed. He quickly talks to the man, heals him, and then moves on. He isn't waiting for accolades or anything. That's not what he's about.
I continue to be in awe of Jesus.

Your right it seems he needs so few words to convey so much about his Father. He speaks so easily about the truth of word--and he should because he is the word. Which is all the more reason we need to keep at it, feeding ourselves with our chapter a day and hopefully more from other study we do.
ReplyDelete43 I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not accept me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him.
just as true to day as it was during the days he was walking on this earth.
