17 Then the tent of meeting and the camp of the Levites will set out in the middle of the camps. They will set out in the same order as they encamp, each in their own place under their standard.
33 The Levites, however, were not counted along with the other Israelites, as the Lord commanded Moses.
So out of this chapter the only thing that caught my attention was the Levites, I guess because out of all the tribes they were treated differently. I googled ecamped because I wondered why use this word instead of camped. It said it was meaning to setup camp, especially a military one.
So the Levites were the priests not the fighters, so I guess that is why they were not counted. They were in the middle of the other camps, I suppose one reason is for protection of them. But another reason or message could to us could be the value of having the word at our center in the middle of everything we do.
I may be stretching to find meaning today, but as I read v17 that is what came to my mind.
