16 By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see.
17 “Now, fellow Israelites, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did your leaders. 18 But this is how God fulfilled what he had foretold through all the prophets, saying that his Messiah would suffer. 19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,
He continues to execute the plan. He gives yet another opportunity to be understood. This guy he had planted for years with physical problems he has now chosen the perfect time to through his disciples to illustrate the power of having faith in Jesus and he is healed. People know its a miracle.
Peter quickly and simply connects the dots for them. Its Jesus. Remember you killed him. But thats ok you were ignorant and God had said that would happen. But don't blow it again, repent and receive the gifts Jesus promised while he walked on earth.
So the gift is ours today just like it was for them when this was written. Its also our responsibility to make sure we share this gift.

That's clear and clean enough that I can understand it. I also like how the people are instantly looking at Peter as if he is something special (which we ALL want deep down inside) and he immediately deflects the praise back to Jesus/God of Abraham...and so on.
Peter is becoming very strong in these chapters. He is definitely taking on more of a leadership role.
