Just returned from a week off of work, what an awesome break. Did some racing both weekends and Gina's parents in the middle for the 4th. Hope you guys had a great 4th as well!
25 Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.
No real take for me this morning. My mind is just wondering about what other things Jesus did that are not captured in the bible. I'm still amazed at what has been captured in the bible and I think it just shows how powerful those experiences were to have been captured and passed through time in such a consistent manner via the bible. It's not like it was on the internet and instantly available globally. But it still managed to cover the globe long before the ease of technology came along.
pretty amazing.

that's a great catch at the end. I missed it. I was just reading along, and completely glazed over it. I think its an important line, because it shows why each of the gospels is a little different. 1. Because the authors were coming from completely unique perspectives.....but 2. They couldn't possibly write everything down. So, they chose what they thought were the most compelling stories to tell, according to their position. Interesting.
ReplyDeleteMany more stories....makes you wonder, doesn't it? What other crazy things did he do?
Again in this chapter John refers to himself as, "the one that Jesus loved."
