Acts 26

Sometimes I get apprehensive about sharing my faith, or trying to convince someone that this Jesus thing is real.  It seems like a debate that's hard to win.  But, what Paul does here is brilliant.  He doesn't really try to convince Agrippa.  What he does is tell his story.  This is why he believes what he does.  He had an authentic encounter with something he couldn't explain.  That has shaped his actions into what he is now doing.
1.  First he recalls his past and education
2.  Then he recounts the story of the road to Demascus
3.  Based on that experience....this is how I MUST now live my life.

brilliantly done.
Paul is the man!

  1. I couldn't pull any specific verses out of 25-26 but I think you really hit on it here. We don't need to feel the pressure to try to convince, just tell your own story. No one can disagree with your story, its your story. Its how you feel and believe based on your experiences. They can reflect on that and the Holy Spirit can work on them through your story.

In Paul's case they already knew who he was and as he reminds them and then shows how he has been impacted and changed it has to get them thinking---why? As they chew on that I bet a few more light bulbs go on and new believers are made.

    good take by you
