Ephesians 2

10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

All throughout the chapter he makes it clear it is through our faith in Christ Jesus that we have our eternal life, not by anything we do.

But that said he has given us tangible and important projects while we are here on this earth.  Am using my life to to the good woks he put in front of me to to do?  Often I feel like I'm just going through the motions each day, definitely not focused on doing good works or even looking for those opportunities.  I think I need to have my eyes open, it says I was created in Jesus to do good works so what am I doing?

  1. Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It’s God’s gift from start to finish! We don’t play the major role.

I read this morning's chapter in the message. It says the same thing you wrote about, but somehow struck me a little differently. I like it. It was all God's idea in the first place. I really have nothing to do with it...but just to accept it. That's true love.
