I wanted to be sure I was not running and had not been running my race in vain.
Even as great as Paul was in his faith. He still felt the need to confirm his message. It might have been one of those, "I hear the words from God, but it might just be in my head....how do I know for sure."
I don't know. I just find it interesting that he is looking for mission confirmation, and not approaching it like he thinks he knows everything.

ReplyDelete16 know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in[d] Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.
I'll just say thank you Jesus an leave it at that.
