Satan has been defeated. Satan’s plans have been thwarted. All that Satan has left to do is battle the people of God on the earth. The battle against Christ, the heavenly battle, was lost.
This is a line from that link. I think it shows both the power of Christ, and the danger we are in.

The link is helpful, there is no way I can make all these connections. It is comforting to think about the fact that Satan has already lost but like you point out we are still in danger being in his arena during our life on earth.
ReplyDeleteNow a strange thought I have is if there could have been this upheaval in heaven with Satan vs. Michael what's to say that there could not be another one someday in the future after we are in heaven? just a small human mind wondering that is clearly beyond what my mind can really comprehend.

that's a good question. that's the kind of thing that keeps me up at night...pondering. But, in the end it doesn't really do any good to think about stuff that's bigger than my mind can work through.
