I think you are right this chapter has been about God's power over all things. I also get lost in the imagery and some of it has felt dark. This verse is a vision of how great it will be for all of us who have been saved by Jesus. Its great to read that the multitude is so great no one could count it.

my take today is more of a question than anything. In the beginning of the chapter it talks about the 144000...12000 from each tribe of Israel. I understand the fact that they are the "chosen" people....but does that mean they are more important than others that are saved by Christ?
ReplyDeleteThe rest of the chapter sounds fantastic. In some ways, I can't wait to go. In others, I don't feel like my job is finished here.
