This one is a bit of a "downer". I understand the thought here. He is saying, no matter what happens in life....there will still be an ending of death. And the rest of the world will continue on when you die. Its an interesting twist on the types of things we've been reading about lately. I'm hoping in the next couple of chapters, the author turns it a little bit, to something that talks about the need to make use of our time here, to further God's kingdom....we'll see. So far, the first chapter could be summed up with one word "FUTILITY"

ReplyDeleteone thing I took that I think I already do is to enjoy my family, because all of the toilng at work will amount to nothing. after I leave Deere no one will remember me but my family will always remember me if I should leave this world early (not that I'm aiming for that but its always a possibility).
