I read a post on this chapter from a friend at church and he talked about accountability partners and how it keeps him strong. It made me think about our partnership on this chapter a day and how much stronger my commitment is to doing this everyday because of having accountability with you.
I remember when we first started this, I think you even used those words holding each other accountable to make sure we followed through which I think was necessary early on. Now it has just become a part of my daily life that I look forward to, maybe not a 3 strand cord but strong than my single strand. thanks bro!

I agree. I acutally feel guilt toward you if I don't do the work.....that's accountability!
ReplyDeleteIts hard to see in all the "hopelessness" of this chapter, but to me the message continues to be that this world isn't what's important. Don't focus on the materialism and wealth gathering, cause in the end it means nada.
But, I do think that as christians we are supposed to be bringing God's kingdom to this wretches earth. In doing that the toil is for a different purpose, and it isn't pointless any more.
