So to end this book I think its pretty clear you can't get happiness from going around and having many women or trying to buy happiness. He has given us gifts of enjoying love, relationship and sex but he designed it to work within a married of a man and a woman. yet society continues to try to work outside his model for us.
I liked verse 14 and her call out to her man. I thought wow, finally an instructiong He has given in the bible I won't struggle to follow! lol
We knocked out S of S, short book I had only read a few verses from over all these years. keep all those sweet compliments we learned from this book in our hip pockets and we will be playing in the garden any time we want.

I really liked this Book. Not the typical stuff we read.
ReplyDeleteMost of what we read is either instructional, historical, or relational with God(you're really impressed right now, aren't you). But, this one speaks to the importance of the relationship with our ladies. Good stuff. Although a lot of the words and compliments sound completely ridiculous to us now, it still gives me a better picture of the relationship I need to strive for with Kim. Having that unquenchable desire for her is something that should be fostered, and even nurtured to grow even more. Sometimes, I feel like I shouldn't share my "wild stag-ness" with her. She doesn't live in that same place, and therefore doesn't really understand it, although she does a great job trying. But, this book has made me think differently. God made me this way intentionally. So, GAME ON!
