Acts 1

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Do I feel powerful?  Not really, but he has told us we have power if the Holy Spirit has come upon us.  What a waste if we are not using this power to be witnesses here at our end of the earth.  I am trying to take more opportunities at work to be very open about my faith.  Not pushing, just being unafraid to make it clear who I believe in and I think I have already seen Him action through this crack in the door I have given Him.  It doesn't take much on my part for Him to show his power.

  1. I like your thinking here. I go thru times when I'm doing really well, bringing my faith up in general conversation.....and then times when I notice that I haven't in a while. Its a constant struggle for me to keep my mind/thoughts/priorities on the eternal, rather than the temporary. Sometimes I think I'm pretty weak minded.

    Good chapter selection.
