19 Counting on God’s Rule to prevail,
I take heart and gain strength.
I run like a deer.
I feel like I’m king of the mountain!
We talk about this often, being in control and making decisions for ourselves vs. totally trusting and having faith in God. Here it is again, said yet another way how swift I could run and feel like I'm on top of the world worry free if I have complete faith in God.
We are searching for a new Director/Pastor of Discipleship at my church. The candidate we are pursuing fits this perfectly. He has such a great calm about him, he is a little over 50 but completely willing to up root his perfectly safe life and move to Des Moines if thats what he discerns God wants him to do. He is so calm and at peace at all times. I truly admire him and his confidence to count on God.

I think that's either a real gift, to have that mentality....or something that takes constant practice and vigilance. I have trouble staying in the "trust zone". I fall out relatively quickly, and I find myself stressing about things; decisions, upcoming events, etc.
