3 The Lord is slow to anger but great in power;
the Lord will not leave the guilty unpunished.
His way is in the whirlwind and the storm,
and clouds are the dust of his feet.
Nahum tells us God is pretty patient but that if you are guilty, punishment is certain--and we are all guilty of sin. Fortunately His Grace has no bounds if we know and love Jesus.

This verse caught my attention. The part about trouble not coming a second time. In other words, he is has the last and final word.
