Exodus 4

Then the Lord said, “If they do not believe you or pay attention to the first sign, they may believe the second.

Its funny to read this....while thinking about the fact that God not only knows what is going to happen, but is controlling it.  So, he knows these two signs won't convince them to let his people go.
It hurts my head to think about it.

The second thing that I see is how often we humans put limits on God.  Moses didn't want to do it.  He didn't think he could do it.  Send someone else.  And remember,....he's writing this about himself.  Its his story.

  1. 13 But Moses, “Pardon your servant, Lord. Please send someone else.”

I wonder how often God has asked me to do something and my actions have said, please send someone else? Like you said, I put limits on what he could do through me. Because I know my own limits and don't think of the fact that he can do anything he wants using any tool he wants including me. It just makes me think I need to have my ears and eyes open for his instruction for me and then being willing to act regardless of what my brain might tell me the outcome will be.
