This one hit me that if we follow God's plan, it will not only benefit us in the eyes of the Creator...but also in the eyes of those around us. I tend to think if I live a God focused life I will look like a freak. But, this verse is saying the opposite.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
I had to copy/paste this one. It is a life verse for me. It says VOLUMES in 4 short lines.

--I see you also selected this one. I do trust but so often I first try to find my own way until the waters get rough then I here I come back to him. I'm in that pattern as we speak where things are getting rough again at work and I realize I haven't been asking him for his guidance. Why don't I learn, he always is faithful.
