8 Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.”[d] 9 So those who rely on faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.
I didn't have any specific take away, but it is interesting to read and see how the Old and New Testament fit like puzzle pieces together. The law's of the old testament given as the path to God followed by the coming of Jesus and faith in Him being the only path in the future. It seems we are lucky to be alive in this time, faith and grace.

ReplyDeletePaul starts this one out in a pretty harsh manner! He spends a lot of time untangling aspects of the law and how it pertains to their walk with God. They must have been too focussed on what they needed to DO, and not focussed enough on their relationship with God. Its interesting how the churches that Paul writes to all have issues...and they are all unique to themselves.
