Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men,
from men whose words are perverse,
13 who have left the straight paths
to walk in dark ways,
14 who delight in doing wrong
and rejoice in the perverseness of evil,
15 whose paths are crooked
and who are devious in their ways.
This feels as relevant to me now as it must have back in the day. Here is advice that has lasted the test of thousands of years. It just goes to show you that people really haven't changed. We are still walking down 2 paths. 1 is wide and has a ton of people on it....looking for their own glory. The other is narrow, less traveled, and has people looking for the glory of God.

ReplyDelete4 and if you look for it as for silver
and search for it as for hidden treasure,
i noted the actions to gain wisdom. its not passive, it takes some work to acquire it. But it has value like a treasure and is worth the effort to gain God's wisdom. That is part of what we are trying to do here since 2011.
i'm so happy i am still on this journey with you.

p.s. --how's your mom coming along? my mom said she talked to her and she seemed to be doing well but still very banged up.
ReplyDeleteShe's doing ok. It's tough when you don't heal fast. She has a broken left hand and broken right foot. She is really struggling to get around. She has a walker that she can only use with one hand, and then she has to hop.....little tiny hops. Yesterday, she got her foot cast off, and a boot put on. That will help. But, she still can't put weight on it.
ReplyDeleteThey will be good. Just a minor-ish setback to life.
